Junior Consultant

Role Description
This is an on-site contract role for a Junior Consultant located in Athens. We are looking for an engineer with little (up to 5 years) holding a BSc degree (required) to join us as a Junior Consultant at our company offices in Athens with occasional travel to our clients' premises/project sites in Greece and abroad. The Junior Consultant will support our senior consultants in providing contract management, claims management and dispute resolution, and planning and scheduling services for projects in the construction industry.

Majors/Fields of Study
BSc or equivalent in any engineering discipline (preferably in civil, mechanical, or electrical)

Minimum Qualifications

BSc or equivalent in any engineering discipline (preferably in civil, mechanical or electrical)

experience up to 5 years
-
fluent in English and Greek
-
excellent use of Microsoft 365 applications
-
excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
-
effective oral and written communication and presentation skills
-
excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work as a team member
-
fulfilled military obligations (if applicable)
Preferred Qualifications
-
MSc degree (or equivalent) with specialization or exposure to one or more of the following subjects: construction law, claims management and dispute resolution, contract management, project management
-
knowledge of project scheduling principles, standard industry project planning software (e.g., Primavera Professional P6, Microsoft Project) and delay analysis methodologies
Duties and Responsibilities
-
work as a team member and receive training from senior consultants
-
assist in contract management
-
support the team by providing planning, programming, and scheduling analysis
-
assist in the preparation of delay analysis and cost calculations (quantum) for claims
-
assist in the preparation of claim reports and participation in dispute resolution proceedings​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​

Legal Counsel

This is a fixed remuneration contract for the employment of an in-house corporate Legal Counsel on-site with occasional travel abroad. We are looking for a new Legal Counsel (with up to 5 years of experience) with a law degree or equivalent (required) to work with us as a corporate Legal Counsel at our firm's offices in Athens. The Legal Counsel will provide advice and handle corporate legal matters of the company and its related/affiliated companies in Greece and abroad. Further, in cooperation with the other company personnel, the Legal Counsel will support the provision of consulting services to the company’s clients in matters of contract management, claims management and dispute resolution.

Duties and Responsibilities

advises the company on and handles all legal matters

develops corporate policies and positions on legal issues

represents the company and/or attends legal proceedings

ensures the legality of commercial transactions and advises the company on its legal rights and obligations

draws up and manages contracts
-
cooperates with the company's other consultants and supports the provision of contract management, claims and dispute resolution consulting services to the company's clients
-
assists in the preparation of claims and participates in dispute resolution proceedings (dispute resolution boards, arbitration, etc.)
